A five-level course. Book 1 introduces students to elementary English grammar and vocabulary in ways which will appeal to the interests of children aged 8-10.
Students will enjoy learning grammar as they join the Benson and Miller children in rescuing dolphins or hunting down unscrupulous thieves. Vocabulary is revised and extended when students sail back into the 18th century to share the adventures of Captain James Nelson with his crew on their ship “The Surprise”.
Additional grammar is presented in Snapshots, with a wide variety of informative and interesting facts from around the world. Emphasis is laid throughout each unit on speaking and the vocabulary taught.
The Speaking and Writing lessons focus on these skills, while the antics of various cartoon children in Just Kids illustrate everyday expressions in conversational English.
